World Cup Street Party

A few more days to go will be the final of world cup, exciting match between espanol and netherland. Everyone over the country is awaiting for the arrival of this final match and this is when the people from all over the world gather together. I actually like world cup a lot when compare to the thomas cup and olympic because world cup not only provide exciting matches but also they function to gather lonesome, busy people from everywhere. Whether you are aware about it or not, they actually gather lonesome people such as those who work alone outstation, those who lost their parents and also those who do not come out for decades to interact with their friends due to busy in working. Well for me, I'm a super outgoing person who hang out a lot and of course world cup makes me hang out more. Last week, when I was watching the match between argentina vs germany, the mamak stall is so crowded and I actually saw a group of 3 youngsters of different races sitting in front of me. One of my friend then started to say that they are most probably from the orphanage. This statement makes me think deeply into it and i really felt that world cup does play a very meaningful role too besides of making some people to earn money but also to lose money. So, for me, i've found an amazing place to watch worldcup final with my friends. No Sweat

Why does human beings undergo perspiration (sweats)?

And why does these sweats smells stink..

Perspiration is a heat expelling process arise from the normal body system to expel excess heat so that the body system functions normally. Apart from exercising, perspiration also occurs during normal activity such as sleeping, sitting while playing computer, walking and etc. During fever, the body will also tends to lose heat by the perspiration process to mantain normal body temperature for body's overall activity to funtion well.

However, some people tends to smell stink even after light exercise. The story behind this was because the sweat contains steroid compounds, the 16-androstenes, they are especially exist when there is a profuse sweating in the groin and armpits. As we know, bacteria tends to grow in humid places, therefore those places where it is easily sweat will have been inoculated with bacteria and these bacteria will act on the sweat hence convert it to those smelly steroid-like compounds and lastly, release their distinctive smells.

My Favourite Surfing Spot

Everyone is talking about internet and high technologies stuff in the era of modern century. Well, that of course include all of the ages of people such as the elderly, kids, children and especially youngsters. In my opinion, most of the elderly people tend to surf net about investments, kids about games and cartoons, whereas for the youngsters, they tend to surf various types of specialties which include almost everything about entertainment. For me, I do have my own favourite surfing spot which I will surf almost everytime when i'm there, and it is in my own room. As soon as i reach my room, the first thing that comes into my mind is to on my laptop and access to the email and facebook. I really think that facebook was a great success as most of the youngsters tend to apply their own account so that they can access to their friend's account and interact with each other. Besides, facebook also plays a major role in finding friends which had not been contacted for a long period, that would probably be friends from primary school, kindergarten and also from secondary school. I choose my room as my favourite spot because it is the most comfortable place to do everything such as to watch movie while eating and to laugh loudly, to lay down when i wanted to and to also dig nose, painting my nails, and etc. Apart from that, I will also surf to different types of games such as the Texas Pocker, Restaurant City, Pet Society, Bejeweled and etc. These games are of course suitable to be played by the people of all ages. I of course have my own favourite game to play and it's been changing eveyrtime. The use of facebook not only provide information about friends, it also help us to catch up with the stuff that friends are really up to and of course to get to know how they are doing recently.

My Dream in the Year of the Tiger

Everyone has their own dream..

Dreaming is a healthy things to do because without dreams, one will not have their own target to achieve..whether it's a dream that is impossible or that is possible to fulfill, both are dreams..
As for me, I admit that I like to dream..(Pisces always do that), but I really wish that my dreams will come true..and THERE'S AN OPPORTUNITY here whereby I can fulfill my dreams.

The first dream I would want it so much is to have a vacation to Rome, Italy..and of course I would like to go with my partner..so, of course it's a vacation for 2..
Rome is the capital of Italy and has been famous for it's historical places located around the city. Besides, Rome is also widely known as one of the world's most beautiful ancient cities. I love visiting historical places and was very fascinated by the sculpturing and ancient buildings that is impossible to produce by the people living few thousand years back. Imagine they do not have any high technology machineries and yet, the sculptures and buildings built were out of imagination, some were unable to even build by the high technologies existed now. Besides, these ancient buildings can even last until now...it's so amazing that we don't even know how they built it.

Places that I would like to visit is the famous Eternal City that includes..

The Colosseum, which is one of the greatest works of Roman architecture and Roman engineering that is able to fit 50,000 spectators to watch the gladiatorial games.

Pantheon, a Roman Temple which built thousand years back.

Vacation to Rome has been a very expensive thing to do because of the conversion of $$$...
But, the statues, sculptures and buildings were really amazing that I'm so attracted to it and if financial is not a problem to me, I would definitely fulfill this wish..

Besides of having fascinating vacation, the most important thing during the vacation is to have a DSLR camera which able to capture a high definition quality of pictures..and this can be done by using the D90 Nikon camera..Therefore, my second dream is to have a D90 Nikkon camera to bring it along to my vacation to capture memories and the amazing buildings, sculptures and scenery..

I'd been dreaming for this camera long time ago because I like to take photo alot as it represent the things and places I'd been through..photos are able to capture memories so that it is remembered!!

Langkawi Trip: Upon Departure

It was a school holiday trip to Langkawi since I've never been there while at the same time, I had a Genting Voucher of 3 days 2 night stay in Langkawi for RM348 for 2 person including breakfast.

Flight tickets were booked one week before the trip and OF COURSE, it was expensive with the price of RM540 for 2 tickets..

The Awana Porto Malai Resort is a Mediterranean inspired resort with ocean views which located at Pantai Tengah. Services and facilities were well organized besides of having wide range of accomodation. The most attracting thing is that they have a broadwalk where the views of the Pregnant Maiden Island can be delighted. Island hopping, night fishing trips and private boat rides can also be arranged as they have their own port.

Langkawi Trip: Underwater World

Traveling around Langkawi is either by car or taxi. Car rentals were available at the Langkawi airport with wide ranges of price according to the car you may want to rent. Basically, the cheapest car (kancil) was rent at a rate of RM90 for one day without petrol.

Well for us, we planned to take taxi because we were the first-time visitors there and were so afraid that we will be lost. Taxi to our hotel cost RM22 and the rate of taxi to respective destination was not dependant on the meter but on the rate fixed by the government itself. Anyone who charge higher than the respective price can be sue.

After the arrival at Awana Porto Malai Resort, it was about time to have lunch as our stomach were starving..

Since we were not familiar with the place, therefore, we took a taxi ride to the chocolate duty-free shop which we have seen during our journey to the resort. Taxi ride from our resort to the duty-free shop cost us about RM6. We then walk around there and chose to stop by at the Restoran Kampung Siam.

After our lunch, we went to the Underwater World, Langkawi which located within walking distance from our restoran. Entrance fee to the Underwater World for Mykad residents were RM18. Besides of having various types of animals, performances by the penguin, sea lion and shark-feeding can also be seen.

After visiting the Underwater World, we walked around the duty-free shop. Langkawi was best known for its duty free liquors and chocolates and it is really cheap!! I am a chocoholic and that's why lots of chocolates were bought from there..and since the liquors were duty free, everyone is only allowed to bring 1 litres across the kastam. As for us, we bought a Martell which cost RM360 and a Merlot Red Wine which cost RM59.

Dinner in Orkid Ria Seafood Restoran was a suggestion form the taxi driver..according to him, this restaurant was very famous and was always crowded with people for the most of the days.

Dinner ended and we walked around that place since the lightings along the streets were beautifully decorated. On our way of walking along the streets, we then reached a shop named Coral Island where you can register yourself for snorkelling in Pulau Payar. Therefore, we registered ourself for the next morning trip in which a bus will to fetch us from our resort at 8am. Snorkelling cost us about RM150 per person.

After that, we took taxi back to resort since we have to wake up early in the next morning.

It's time for finding new food on 2010!!
I had a great one with my parents with the special offer for senior citizen of RM35++ and for me, RM55++.

As usual, New Year has been always crowded with people especially in the shopping mall, so my parents decided to satisfy their taste buds with FOODS!!
Me, as usual, accompanied them..to the Hotel Federal...
Well, according to my mom, Hotel Federal had a longed history whereby it existed since my mum was still in her primary school..because of their location which is nearby those popular shopping mall such as Lot10, Low Yat, Pavillion, Sungai Wang and etc, therefore, their hotel room rate was also not cheap. It is rated as a 5 star hotel because of their location, service and facilities provided.

It's actually very worthful in my opinion..

A special day for everyone with public holiday...the Christmas Day

Celebration for Christmas is not a must for everyone but for me, I had one..which was having Hi-Tea Buffet in Halia, located in Sime Darby Convention Centre, Bukit Kiara. It was a decision made by my mom since she realized that it's been a long while for us to gather and have a buffet.

My mom booked the place just 2 weeks before Christmas Day, with 3 of us, my mom, dad and me; because of that, I have to made myself available eventhough I really have a lot of 'self-activities' with my friends. That morning was a suffer to me because on christmas eve, I'd made myself drunk after partying at 'The Opera' and was not able to wake up on the next day. Forcefully, I keep reminding myself about the Hi-Tea and get myself awake with the feeling of still wanting to vomit..

Surprisingly, I saw the gifts and the 'party hat' on the table and I feel so great about it...there was a gift for me..hahaha..and i'm awake!!

Naughty parents who are still playful took the hat and wore it..and i was so shocked that my dad actually walk around to take the foods with the hat still on his head..and my mom just wear it for me to take photo..playful parents..>.<"

Besides, there was a clown who made toy balloons in that buffet area too..the clown was a fast balloon maker who can make different types of toy including those ghost buster's gun..it's really huge..

The first food that caught into my eyes was this stack of salmon slice..

and there it goes by the Chritmas Must Food, TURKEY..it taste so delicious especially with the black pepper sauce. Well, there's really a difference between the chicken and the turkey besides of its size; turkey actually taste smoother than chicken especially with the chicken breast meat.

Next food that caught my attention, the Oven Baked Beef..
I did not taste it as I don't like to eat beef, but for those who likes to eat beef alot, I think this will caught your attention too..it's a very healthy food because it is oven baked.

Beside of serving delicious foods, their price also range cheaply. With all the foods we ordered, all of the medium size with 5 types of foods that can fit 6 peoples stomach completely, it only cost RM60 including drinks.

Tang Hun was nice too.

Recommended by my mother, the Sago Mango Fruit Delight was worth it's price as it contains a lot of mangoes and sago..which contains in its evaporated milk, mixing all of it rpoduces great taste.

Chocolates are among the woman's favorites; i'm a chocolate lover especially for dark chocolates, the darker the better. The taste of dark chocolates with high contents of cocoa are out of word description; sweet bitterness is the main description for dark chocolates but in my own opinion, there's also a fusion of slight sour taste.

Last week, I came across to one of my friend's facebook post where the location was at chocolate lounge, one utama and i was so surprised that there's such place whereby the store only sells chocolate and is everything about CHOCOLATES!! Chocolate pancakes, waffles, ice creams, drinks with different types of chocolates and etc.

i was so excited that on the week itself, i went there and CAN'T WAIT TO GET THERE!! it's like a heaven to me!!

Belgian chocolate produces one of the finest chocolates in the world and it is said that they are the best in the whole world. Guess i'm very picky about the chocolates that i want and because of that, i found out that cheap chocolates don’t give the taste that I always look for in a chocolate. Not to say that cheap chocolates are not good but we can actually get the satisfaction by just paying a little bit more.

So, we just ordered it and give it a try..

Finally i am able to update my blog after 2 months of laziness and business!!
For my whole semester break starting from the end of may, i really did a lot of stuff..going to many places.

Eventually, all the things and places that i did was about the same, nothing special..the special one was the Perhentian Trip..and the rest were drink, club, shop, cinema, mamaking and then drink again, club again and etc. I really do enjoy the Perhentian Trip well because..on that day we depart, i received a message from my coursemate telling me that my final exam result was released and i was unable to check since i was in the car and on my way to the jeti...And also i was afraid that i had to take supp paper or fail..but then everything was fine and so i can enjoy my trip to the fullest.. Besides, i also stays at home to watch hong kong drama series since my mom bought a lot of drama series from a shop which is going to close down. All of these hong kong series~es makes my eyes swollen..=p

Father's Day was okie as my dad was here to have dinner together with us since he's always in Indonesia for working. Few weeks passed and i'm now in cheras to meet one of my housemate since he came back here to visit us from Johor. After this was the Transformer show..haha..I've booked the tickets and it's really hard to get it since everyone were looking forward to watch it.

That is all for my holiday and I am going back to Klang tonight again to continue my playing~

Random Jack Daniel's Day..

It was a random suggestion by Lilean and Gideon to drink the left over liqour one month ago when I had to rush for my lab report. In the end, all of us (housemates) drank and shows stunt during that midnight.

Sudden Port Dickson trip..

Invited by my housemate suddenly who said wanted to go Port Dickson on last Saturday when I was at the moment, practicing dancing for the pharmacy prom night. I promised her to go whereby one of her friend drove there. I actually thought it was just for a makan trip when her friend suddenly said that she wanted to play kite..

We departed at about 345pm and reached there at about 5pm. Then, we went to the public beach to buy the kites which cost RM5 for one..

After playing kites, it was about 6pm and the wind started to slow down and the people there started to keep their kites..
We then decided to go for a seafood restaurant for our dinner which leaded by our friend who stayed there..and the restaurant was called as tian tian seafood restaurant..amongst the famous seafood restaurant.

It was around 830pm after our dinner and we went to our friend's house which located nearby the restaurant. While waiting for their parents to come back so that he can drive his parent's car to lead us out to the highway, we had a short conversation in his house. And before leaving his house, his grandmother gave us half a dozen of dragon fruit which planted by them..

Thanks to jason's auntie for the Dragon fruit and also to Jason for becoming the tourist guide..It's very tasty..:p

Japanese buffet has been spreaded all the while and those that were the well-knowns including Tenji, Jogoya, Yaki yaki, Sasaki and etc. On my birthday, I was invited to have a Japanese buffet in Jogoya, Starhill and it was a treat from my housemates.

All of us were so full on that day..Thanks to all of my housemates, those who accompanied me and those who wishes and gave me gifts as well..thanks to all..It was an amazing day..

KL Towerthon 09

KL Towerthon was held on the 3rd March 09 with the distance of 1km and 2058 step ups. I participated in the Women's Open Category in which there were only 500 limited places for this category. We reached there around 7am and it was already crowded by participants. Breakfast of fruit cakes and tea were provided followed by the early morning stretch activity before the race. It was divided into 3 batches for the Men's Open Category with 15 minutes apart of each consisting of 300 participants. The first batch started around 815am and followed by the 2nd and 3rd batch. Women's Open category started at around 9am.

Recently,Tenji Japanese Buffet Restaurant has been spreaded through emails and blogged by numerous food bloggers. I was there 2 weeks ago with my beloved friends in which our gathering took place. It was a treat from my friend, Pearlyn who came back from Australia with the intentions to gather 5 pretty girls together which includes me..:p Few days before, we tried to make a reservation but we were informed that it's full house for the next few days. However, we tried our luck that day in which we didnt get to make any reservation and it happened to be that we were in the waiting list and we managed to get our seats there. Well, the promotion offered was RM49.90++ per person for the lunch buffet, 11.30am till 4.30pm or RM29.90++ per person for the first hour and added of RM10 for the subsequent hours. We took the RM49.90++ and added with Yee Sang which cost only for RM18. For the Dinner buffet, RM88++ was charged per person and a discount voucher of RM50 will be given for immediate use for every 2 diners. Tenji was offering this promotion until the 17th of Feb 2009 and it was said that the promotions was in the full house state until the 15th of Feb and the recent promotion was changed to RM55++ per person for the luncheon buffet.

Balik to interesting kampung

The day before Chinese New Year, as usual, I was ordered by my parents to hometown which is located in Johor to visit my aunties. It was very boring because of the 'kampung' thing, an extremely ulu place untill you have to drive so far from that kampung area just to get a reload card...and this place, my kampung is situated in Semerah.

SPOTTED!! no helmet.....
Nah!!Actually 95% of the residents there don't wear helmet which is what i don't like about because it is so so dangerous...Not only this, they can also have up to 3 or 4 people on the mototrcycle and it's...including the babies with no helmets!!

Largest Buddhist Temple in Malaysia

I never knew that there's a largest temple in Jenjarom until my cousin came..
It was a suggestion from my parents to bring them there as my cousin came from Johor once a year. None of us knew the way there including my parents who suggested and my sister. Fortunately, we were able to reach there after 45 minutes of driving from Klang and it's actually quite easy to search for that place because there's road sign along the way.

We reached there at around 8.45pm when we saw those fascinating lightings and everyone of us was so excited to go in.

When we enter into the temple, it was so dark and I didn't even know what pictures am I going to take..so, I just snap it and it came out to be a very nice photo!!
And because of that, I read the introduction written there..

Yesterday, I went to Sunway Pyramid for countdown. It was a wonderful day because we didn't spent much and yet get to see the fireworks. It was untill after the fireworks, my friend called to tell us that there was a roadblock, to check whether the people on the passenger seat put on their seat belt. Can you believe it?? It was just after 12am and New Year's Eve..first day of 2009!! The police were so EFFICIENT that just after 2008 they MANAGE TO DO THEIR JOB in which supposingly I have to say that they just use this opportunity to trap those who drunk and forgotten of the seat belt matter so that they can get some EXTRA money. So people out there, please please remember to put on your seat belt if you do not want to give them any EXTRA money!!

Naked Party in Johor

Did you come across with any e-mails saying that there will be a naked party in Johor, Malaysia on New Year's Eve?
Two days ago, I came across to this chinese news saying that there will be a naked party in Johor on New Year's Eve. This party cost RM250 for each participant and there will be requirements for them to attend.

1. Men who want to attend must be below age of 40 years.
2. Males must be naked without the undies during the party.
3. Females who want to attend can only wear panties and must be a G-string panties without tops.
4. At the end of the party, females will have to take off their G-string panties.

Well, The Star had came across to this news and managed to get in touched with one of the contact person who named herself as Ida, a woman.
Ida demanded for a deposit of RM100 to be banked in before that party for them to confirmed their name on it. She said that there were already 200 females who took part and they were lack of males, some of the females came from Malacca and colleges from Kuala Lumpur. Liquor and accomodation will be provided with a cost of nominal sum. Further questions from The Star people makes them suspect and they just hang up immediately.

With all these information, it is suspected to be planned by con men.

1. Why would they want the deposit to be banked in before the party if it's going to held?
2. Malaysia is a very conservative country, could this party be held?
3. They didnt even state anything about the location of the party.

Anyone who banked in their deposit of RM100 to them, all I can say is, you gained an experience from that.

Jakarta and Bandung

On study break, i went to Indonesia; Jakarta and Bandung with my mother to visit my father. This trip lasted for 7days in which I had only one more week to study. We went there by Air Asia and the journey took for about 2hours. I remembered I departed at 5pm and reached there at 6pm. At first I thought it only took one hour to reach there but it was actually 7pm in Malaysia. However, their 6pm there was already very dark and it is actually the same as Malaysia's 7pm sky, just that their time is 6pm. We were driven by the hotel's driver to the hotel since we do not know the way there.
